Idump4u

Last week on “Game On” we interviewed Bradley, who runs a website called idump4u.com. The way this site works, is for a small fee of $10, Bradley will dump your boyfriend or girlfriend. $25 will end an engagement and $50 will initiate a divorce. Bradley also records these breakups so you can listen to them on youtube. As funny as they are, my initial thought was that it was a bit mean spirited, and that you should always breakup face to face.

Bradley does have some scruples though. If he does not get a decent enough reason as to why he should do the dumping, he will not do it. He also requires evidence through pictures and e-mails that you are in fact in said relationship.

As I listened to the breakups, I kind of got addicted to them. With close to 90 breakups posted, they had certain things about them that were interesting.

For the most part, these people deserved to be broken up with and when you read the descriptions and actually hear them on the phone, it all makes sense.

In the phone calls, Bradley does a decent job in staying neutral and detached emotionally to keep it professional, but at times becomes involved when dealing with jerks and abusers. I don’t blame him. A few of the relationships were abusive and mannipulative

If people are willing to pay Bradley to do their dirty work and Bradley is willing to do it, then more power to everyone. Let’s face it. Breaking up is a hard thing to do and if you are a bit passive or can be bullied into others’ demands, you could end up being very unhappy. Bradley can make sure the word is getting through.

I would like to hear your feedback on the matter. Would you use Bradley’s service if your girlfriend or boyfriend is just not “getting it” or know that it could be a bad situation to break up face to face?

At first I was like no way, this is absurd. But you're right Johnny, there comes a time & a place when something like this could be useful.

Definitely a "sign of the times" for the world we live in.

We had a similar thing here the UK, was done by a radio station but was done in much less neutral fashion. I personaly think it should always be done face-to-face but I can appreciate that in controlling and even abusive relationships this isn't as easy.
