Home Sweet Hollywood

We’re Back!

Five days in London, two weeks in Munich, four days in Budapest, another three days in the Netherlands, and then back to Munich. Then, we flew from Munich back to London, and from Heathrow to LAX non-stop. Needless to say, we were relieved to finally land and get some rest. There were six of us traveling through Europe together, and with an entourage tagging along, getting anywhere was exhausting. We wore ourselves out!

After four weeks of traveling through Europe, holding bootcamps and giving seminars, we have returned home to our new headquarters in Hollywood, California. This is a change that we welcome wholeheartedly since we have spent the last two years (and winters) in New York City. We’ll be running things the same way as we have in NYC with week-long and three day boot-camps as well as free intro seminars. We have also started work on some long-term projects that we are very excited about.

We’ve run bootcamps in Los Angeles before, but we haven’t really spent any real quality time here. I expect we’ll learn a lot about the left coast mentality and lifestyle. I have personally seen so much craziness already, and we just moved in! Hollywood, though it’s a part of Los Angeles, has its own thing going on. This is where the freaks gather–no wonder they call it Hollyweird.

That said, people are still people wherever you go. Everybody wants to connect, and everybody wants to be a part of something. The people we met in Europe were very fun, and were willing to show us around everywhere we went. I didn’t really see any real differences with meeting girls at all. The fun vibe and smiles go a long way, and it’s universal.

One question that I hear a lot is

“What if she doesn’t speak the same language as me?”

“What if she can’t understand what I’m saying?”

We met so many girls over there just being social, and we had no problem communicating at all. For the most part, I would say about 75% – 80% spoke English well enough to converse for a little while. Besides… how much talking do you want to do on the dancefloor anyway?

We look forward to seeing y’all in LA. Check our calendar for programs and details of upcoming events.

Oh, and The Art of Charm is now on Yelp!  For those of you that have gotten value from what we teach here, we would REALLY appreciate a positive review, as we’re keen to strengthen The Art of Charm brand presence on Yelp on BOTH coasts.

Here’re the links (remember to review us on BOTH locations, as it’s the same staff and quality instruction!)
