Using Qualification and Disqualification to Predict an Outcome

In order to understand the depths of qualification beyond simple time management we need to look into some other definitions of the term. We look back even further to the philosophical conundrum known as the qualification problem. Largely considered in Artificial Intelligence, the qualification problem is concerned with listing all of the preconditions required for an action to have its intended effect within the real world. In Lay terms (excuse the pun) it is referred to as how to deal with the things that prevent me from achieving my intended result. A seemingly impossible task to say the least. Yet one we find ourselves dealing with almost everyday with regards to the world of pickup.

Women are at the very best unpredictable. With all the possible interpretations, preconditions and individual random elements that take place during a pick up there is almost no way of knowing exactly what would happen next. What we need is a way to attempt to alter these events and streamline them into something we can control.  For this we can begin to understand and use the technique known as qualification. Let’s look into the different types of qualification.

Now naturally everything we discuss is merely theory, unfortunately there is almost no way of proving any psychological effect; you can only ever hope to show some form of positive correlation, and especially within this field there are a number of different interpretations. So this is by no means a complete and concise article of everything to do with Qualification but merely an attempt to iron out as much as possible.

The previous paragraph is an ideal example of the first type of qualification we are going to look at. Disqualification. Put simply disqualification is used as a preemptive technique to alter someone’s perception of a future situation that you can predict. For example as a writer within the community I know a lot of terms are open to individual explanation. I know a number of self confessed gurus would like to claim ownership on a specific term or technique as they feel it sets them apart form the others.

Those writers may be hurt at reading someone else writing about “their topic.”  They may feel the need to disagree with it or add to it in order to maintain the image that they are authorities on that subject. By writing that I have not covered everything, and that everything I write is open to discussion I allow for that situation, and make it difficult for them to accuse me of a) trying to claim the subject as my own and b) claiming I know everything. I have disqualified myself as an expert, therefore averting a potential negative situation.

From a more gamy point of view. let’s look at a potential real life situation. If you knew that a girl you were gaming believed you where hitting on her and she wasn’t interested you would need to act fast to stay in set. We’ve all seen the situations where her eyes begin to glaze over and she nods quietly just before looking around for her friends as a route to escape. You could preempt this situation by disqualifying yourself and then allowing yourself more time in set to generate attraction. One of the original ones used was to tell a girl “If I wasn’t gay you’d so be mine.” This disqualifies you as a potential date and instead gives her the comfort to allow you to stay in set. Though this isn’t the only way to disqualify yourself. Sometimes admitting you “love the cock” isn’t the best way to run a set as it may leave you with another issue to deal with later.

When you understand the concept of disqualification you can actually begin to formulate other ways to express disinterest, either by having another partner, having come out of a bad break up and the thought of spending time with another girl would be horrible so soon after, the list is endless. By understanding the concept of disqualification you instead allow yourself the ability to generate your own lines in a given situation to prevent potential problems arising before they do.
