Show Notes:

Your body language is communicating from the second you walk in the door. No great pickup line will ever overcome bad body language.
Practice body language, in private and in the club;  act comfortable to feel comfortable.  Try it, even though you feel silly at first.
Conversations are fluid;  get used to silence.   Be comfortable, not fidgety.
Keep hands below your waist.
Don’t be tense, keep your chin up, and don’t clench your jaw
Be close enough to escalate physically; talk over your own shoulder, and be non-threatening.
Don’t be afraid of an audience.
Act relaxed, sit relaxed,and  just like you’re at home with your friends.

    great content in this podcast. to add some of my own suggestions to body language is;

    1. many people can improve their body language through massage, pilates, yoga, lifting weights, exercise, sports, surfing, skateboarding etc. As an example if you look at Kosmo in “The Pickup Artist”, he naturally has great body language which is most likely due to him having physical hobbies (break dancing and boxing). Contrast that with Scott who had horrible body language and it’s not surprising that his main hobby is Dungeons and Dragons, nuff said.

    2. breathing is big and is something I’m working on. powerful breathing = powerful body language

    3. in terms of relaxing one’s jaw, a couple of years ago I had this massage therapist put on some gloves and do this crazy massage thing inside my mouth. the pain was very intense (it was a good pain though) and bought tears to my eyes BUT straight after I felt AMAZING. I’m naturally more of a listener than a talker but after this was done I was talking my ass off. it was so much more enjoyable to talk with a loose jaw. highly recommended.

    by the way, you guys work very well together and bring a really fun and positive energy to what you do. awesome stuff. keep it up!

    peace
